Terms of Service
Last updated: August 28, 2026
By using Fold Image, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, your only remedy is to stop using the website. We may update these terms periodically, so please review them each time you visit.
1. Entire agreement
These Terms of Service are the entire agreement between you and Fold Image regarding your use of the website and its services, and they replace any prior understandings on the same subject.
2. Prohibited uses
You agree not to use Fold Image for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, including any action that violates applicable laws, regulations, or these Terms.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or reverse-engineer the service.
- Do not upload malware or content intended to harm others.
- Do not use automated scraping in a way that degrades the service for other users.
3. External links
We are not responsible for the content of third-party websites linked from Fold Image. Following those links is at your own discretion and risk.
4. Termination of access
We may terminate or restrict your access to Fold Image or related services at any time, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if we need to protect the service or other users.
5. Disclaimer of warranties
Fold Image and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We aim for high-quality results and reliable uptime, but we do not guarantee that every conversion will be perfect, uninterrupted, or free from errors. Use of the website is at your own risk.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fold Image is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or services. If liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific paid service giving rise to the claim (or zero if you used only free features).
7. Governing law
If a legal dispute related to Fold Image arises, you agree that the exclusive venue is the courts of the jurisdiction where the website operator is established, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country require otherwise.
8. File ownership and privacy
Files you upload remain your property. We access and temporarily store them only to provide the requested service (for example resizing, compressing, or converting). Server-side uploads and outputs are deleted automatically within 6 hours.
Browser-only tools process images on your device and do not upload them. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.
9. Copyright compliance
You must not upload or process copyrighted material unless you own it or have permission. Violations may result in removal of content and restriction of access.
10. Prohibition of uploading infringing content
You are prohibited from uploading, sharing, or distributing content that infringes third-party copyrights or other intellectual-property rights. By using Fold Image, you confirm that you own the content you upload or have the rights needed to process it.
10.1 Circumvention tools
You may not use our services to bypass digital rights management (DRM) or other technological protection measures, or to convert content from services that prohibit such conversion, unless you are properly authorized.
10.2 Consequences
We may remove infringing material and suspend or permanently block access for repeated violations.
10.3 Monitoring
We do not actively review every upload, but we reserve the right to review, remove, or disable access to content that violates these Terms.
11. DMCA / copyright notices
If you believe copyrighted material has been used on Fold Image without authorization, you may send a notice to our designated agent.
11.1 What to include
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to locate it.
- Your contact information (address, telephone number, and email).
- A statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the owner.
11.2 Counter-notification
If you believe material was removed by mistake, you may submit a counter-notification with your signature, a description of the material and its prior location, a good-faith statement that removal was in error, and your contact details, together with consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court.
11.3 Designated agent
Email: [email protected]. A mailing address for formal notices will be provided upon request for copyright claims.
12. Paid plans, billing, and refunds
If Fold Image offers paid plans, subscriptions are billed according to the plan you select until canceled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise at checkout.
Because digital processing is available immediately, fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly promised at the time of purchase. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
13. Website copyright
The Fold Image name, branding, layout, and original site content are owned by us or used under license. You may access materials for personal, non-commercial use. Commercial reuse of our branding or site content without permission is not allowed.
14. Affiliate disclosure
We may recommend third-party products or services and earn a commission if you purchase through those links. Recommendations reflect our honest opinions; please do your own research before buying.
